SUMMER 2003 IN PICTURES
SUMMER 2003
Home Alone -2: Lost in New York I visited the New York city on July 25th and 26th. I had Br. Michael Greco with me on the 25th and Dorothy Wenzel on the 26th chaperoning me around (and seeing that I did not get lost).

It was a beautiful, clear day ...

The World Trade Center stood majestically behind these buildings before 9/11
The Statue of Liberty ... awesome, inspirational and majestic
Had to have my picture with the grand lady!
A great view of the famous Brooklyn Bridge
A view of the garden that is open to the public at our Friary (St. John's) on 31st St. in Manhattan - a small oasis in the midst of the city.

A look down the world famous Wall Street ... in the background is Trinity Church.
It was a very moving experience to visit Ground Zero. I also paid a visit to St. Mark's Church which now houses a memorial to the volunteers who worked after the attacks (couldnt bring myself to take any pictures there ...)
